KeenGamer: "Let's talk about why you may feel bad while playing Overwatch right now. Now, this game can feel incredible at its best. But at its worst, it can send even the serenest of players into fits of rage. From the wonky rewards system to the toxic community, this will cover all the reasons why Overwatch might be getting the best of your temper in 2021."
The world could always use a few more heroes, or in this case friends. Here are some Overwatch Heroes you would want to hang out with.
Blizzard's blending of the FPS and MOBA was a masterpiece of design that met its end too soon.
I miss 6v6, lootboxes and an actual player level. I used to look forward to Junkenstein's Revenge at Halloween and the Christmas event cause of all the cool cosmetics you could earn. I'd play it every day. Now you play it for an hour, earn some stupid charm, and you're done. No reason to play anymore.
I remember those epic dreamworks-like CGIs. I wasn't a fan at all but man, I knew it was a rediculously huge game. OW2 I've seen...nothing, died maybe after a week.
OW2 is a disaster. All these years to make the game 5v5….? And they scrapped PvE? The game just sucks man zero fun.
Activision has admitted that its Call of Duty and Overwatch eSport Leagues are facing challenges that the company might fail to address.
Ha ha these have been in trouble fort awhile so now we talk about it/address it?
How about you explain why you make billions but always have layoff's.
A lot of people here couldn't even read the headline. This isn't about the games themselves, it's about the esports leagues.
Simple... some team members thinking they're on Call of Duty and runs off.
Does it still have lootboxes?
I dunno, I wouldn't really blame the game at this point. Online shooters have a life cycle, but create the illusion they don't with infinite levels etc...it goes from the initial amazing 'discovery period' for first few months, a 'settling in period' when first batch of new content drops with a resurge around the Christmas holidays, and then what happens is the 'hardcore' contingent of players gets better at the game, more regular players drop as the gameplay loop becomes stale.
Taking OW by these metrics, it fared extremely well -- I personally played it for over a year. But I know the game too well now, and players tend to use the same tactics and are generally very highly skilled. It was an extremely clever, creative game.
Teammates ruin the game for me. As a person who likes to play Mercy as I play casually. I do great but I get paired with newbies but get matched against ppl in like level 100+ range only. It's so dumb smh. The way I have to play to have fun now is play sombra since I don't have to rely on no one to stay alive but me. I don't blame the game. I blame ppl jumping on it and not playing right. If you wanna go rambo, this ain't the one for you. It's like 1 in 10 games I find a team that's half decent and re start coordinating and boom, we go from a stuggle to winning and play a few rounds as a group. Overwatch is honestly the best pvp shooter for me when I'm not playing with a bunch of ppl thinking they're in other shooters lol
