Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.
Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.
The only one I’d disagree with is doom. It shows its age badly I think. After 5 minutes of play these days you put it down.

Mario 64 is great but I wouldn’t put it over Mario World.
Sorry lol. I wrote the article but 5 of us voted for many different games and majority went on the list then we worked on the list. If it were just my personal top favorite we'd seen some xenoblade and star ocean as well as some others. Thanks for checking out it!

Breath of the Wild had dungeons?
I actually don't mind the OoT water temple. Although I'm not sure what changes they made to the 3DS version that possibly improved it over the original so you don't get lost as easy.
Jabu Jabu's belly in OoT was the worst for me the first time around because I couldn't figure out where the heck I supposed to go about halfway through.
BotW as a whole. Those where Charles barkley “turrable”
Pretty much any water dungeon, although the one from LBtW was pretty good.
