Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection Launches on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on June 10

Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have announced the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Nice but I will probably stick to the backwards compatible xbox 360 and original xbox NG games. I didn't enjoy the drastic difference of chapter enemy placements of Sigma 2

I much prefer the originals on the xb/360 to the sigma versions on ps3/vita. For me it is a matter of controller.

In the original Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 2, you fight these exciting monster fiends at the very beginning of the New York chapter. On the Sigma 2 version, you fight these very boring demon dogs at the beginning of NY. In the Xbox 360 NG2 at the 'Return to Hayabusa village' chapter 11, you fight hundreds and hundreds of deadly ninjas at the very beginning. In Sigma 2 at the same exact 'Return to Hayabusa Village' chapter you don't fight anything for the first 20 minutes-its a empty village and than finally a few small number of boring dogs show up after 20 minutes. I did not like the drastic changed chapter enemy placements in Sigma 2. The Original NG2 had perfect placements of enemies. Sigma 2 literally took all the FUN out of Ninja Gaiden 2

i will totally agree about NG2 oX360 ...were absolute masterpieces ....while im fan of PS3, i agree Sigma were totaly child games ....also the violence in NG2 (x360) was completely over the top and satisfying while in Sigma was censored and not fun at all with amputation letting demons pour energy instead of blood and gore

Unfortunately, according to the nintendo direct its going to be the sigma versions. I don't know why they would do that. NGBlack and og NG2 are far superior games.

I hope not, but doubt it. Sigma 2 platinum was a pain in as because of that. Razor edge I didn't even try for that because of it.

Alot of questions need answered for this collection. Is Sigma 2 the Playstation Vita version or the Playstation 2 version and will the online modes be included for Sigma 2 and Razors Edge. Will there be additional coop missions included that were not in the original Sigma 2 coop/razors edge coop. Will there be ALL COSTUMES included from original xbox 360 Ninja Gaiden 2 that were not included in Sigma 2. Will Sigma 2 include the original action packed Xbox 360 NG2 enemy placements in the chapters or the will they be the same boring Sigma 2 chapter enemy placements

Ironically, all 3D NG games are boring (360 & PS3) when compared to the NES NG games. No wall climbing...

They can count me in for a purchase. I don't think I ever did play Ninja Gaiden 3 due to the poor reviews it got at the time, so I'm excited for this collection.

Bout time, we all knew it exist. Toon them along time to come out with it. Hope its more to it like SR3 remaster and not just straight up. Ninja gaiden 4 is also on the way, I say next year.

The coop wasn't good, it was laggy as hell and made the platinum pain in the as to impossible.

I've played Ninja Gaiden games before trophies or a achievements were in them. Even though very limited coop missions, Online coop missions made Ninja Gaiden games fun to team up online with other Ninja Gaiden fans around the world. I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden Online coop more than Call of Duty online

And the games in this collection are not even 4k!! 1080p resolution for all 3. The backwards compatible Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox One X and Series X are 4k resolutions

You can only allude that the base Xbox’s, switch and PS4 are 1080p and below. It’s more then likely everything else will be 1440p to 4K

Just played through ng2 on game pass, but looking to play it again on ps4. And of course the first game, haven't really played that much.

3rd I did play on PS3, not really high on my list lol....

As much complaining I hear about NG2 fans who always talk about a chapter having a bunch of enemies and blood. They never like to give credit to the graphical improvements sigma gave. The camera tracking improvements, additional weapons, enemy types and bosses. Or how you even get the additional characters to play with in those versions.

The reason they give the sigma versions is simply because they have more content and energy put into them. If you like the original build of NG2 you can still get it where it’s at with its improvements on that system. Which are really just performance locked to 60 where it had dips and tears on 360 version. And an upscale of the game to just below 4K but now asset quality improvements.

This collection is going to be awesome at the end of the day.
