From Xfire: "'Is it worth buying a PS4 Pro in 2021?'
That is the question on the mind of every gamer who wasn't able to or still can't get their hands on a PlayStation 5."
MonsterVine: "Grand Theft Auto VI isn’t just facing a release delay—it’s battling shareholder expectations that demand nothing less than record-breaking perfection."
We all saw the life-like new trailer for GTA 6, and basically everyone was speechless; now, when the initial hype died down, the players are a bit skeptical that the game will look like the trailer.
I have my slight doubts as well. To my eyes, the visuals in first trailer looks marginally better.
I presume there might be different visual preset(s) for cutscenes, and gameplay and the game'll seamlessly transition between the two.
Then again, they made GTA V possible on a PS3 and RDR2 on an Xbox One. So ... fingers crossed, I guess.
I will wait for PC version it will be the best version. Sucks to wait but it is what it is
I 100% believe that's what the game will look like. Presentation and high fidelity graphics are finally starting to shine later in the gen so expect this game to look as advertised.
That's cause it won't. This was all cinematic in-engine footage. It's always doll'd up for trailers.

It is for me. I'm three away from have the full retail set in NA. I'm just missing Monster Hunter, Last of Us 2 and 500 million. With people selling off their PS4's to get PS5 makes it easier for me to jump on those deals. I may have a bit of a hard time finding MH and 500m though as not many were in my area. Recently I got Spider-man and God of War for hella cheap ($150-200 ea). Right now I have Black, White, Battlefront 2, Death Stranding, Spider-man and God of War.
On a side note, this works for scoring One X's as well. Im missing just Cyberpunk and Gold Rush to complete that set.
Yes if your old one took a dump replace it I know people dump their old consoles and go towards the newer ones but I always save my last gen systems. I just wonder if Sony will make a super slim PS4 if they do hope its not as ugly and cheap feeling like the super slim PS3.
Nah no need when PlayStation 5 can play 99% of PS4 games also PS4 games look better on PlayStation 5
I don't know just wait till PS5 since ky can play 99.9% of ps4 games with better performance and graphics
If you can find an affordable one and have the cash, then sure go for it. The only real difference right now between PS5 and PS4 Pro is PS5 can hit 4K60FPS and has Ray-tracing and a UHD blu-ray player, whereas PS4 Pro is 4K30FPS and doesn't have the latter two features. There's also the DualSense. When more PS5 exclusives start to come out then it might be worth looking at PS5, but for right now games still look impressive on PS4 Pro, IMO.
