They really need to get this one right. They hurt the franchise a lot with how they handled 5. 5 and Hardline are the only ones I skipped since I started with 2142.
No interest in games that used to be a full fledge games becoming F2P. You'll end up paying more than normal retail price for everything that would typically be in the game. Additionally those contents will be trickled in over time instead of just all there. I hate how Killer Instincts on Xbox had a barebone rooster during the first year.
With BF6 the rumor seems to suggest that it has F2P elements. That doesn't make sense to me without more details. So it's a paid game and F2P at the same time?
Please please please if you allow up to 128 players let us have 8 man squads (thats 16 squads per team) Give us a proper clan system... Provide a proper Anti-Cheat system... Let us rent servers from providers and stop promoting "official" EA servers in front of player made ones...
I hope this is similar to BF3, which has been my favorite so far, although as a 4 man squad, we played the hell out of BF1.
I'm going to agree with those who are of the opinion that the F2P aspects will be following the Warzone/Fortnite/Apex models. Cosmetics are the way.
Levolution should be a blast this time as PS5 and XSX bring enough power to not hinder PC, so we should see some good advancements. I'm 100% sure there will be a last-gen version, with limited functionality and destruction, just as was the case at the beginning of last gen.
And to the guy who said 8 man squads, you've got the right idea.
EDIT: I'll also add that I really enjoyed BF3 single player, but was bored senseless by 4's, and didn't even finish Nordlys on 5.
BF1 single player was, of course, masterful, but not really a "campaign".
Ew, please don't
hmmmm
Well, if someone has the chance to dethronize Warzone, it's them.
No thanks.
If they can make "levolution" truly dynamic, I think we Bf fans are going to be in for a treat.
