Battlefield 6 doesn't have to be anything less than a reboot for the entire franchise. It is perhaps the last chance to reactivate loyal fans. For this, Dice has to do everything that the arsenal has to offer and what made the series once big and well-known.
Our first look at Battlefield 6's factions will assuage fears for now, as there are no goofy-looking specialists that will ruin the experience.
If there's anything I've learned so far when it comes to this type of thing - No goofy-looking operators YET.
Battlefield 6 campaign work-in-progress footage has been unearthed alongside artwork for the unannounced Battle Royale mode.
Rooting for this one to be good . I had a good time with Battlefield one at the time and everything it had going on. Hopefully it’ll reignite the spark by delivering a good multiplayer environment and experience just like one had done in the past .
Good time for Battlefield to get my attention again. With Black Ops 7 trying that future crap, I do hope the new Battlefield can keep me busy
"unannounced Battle Royale mode"
Why? Splitgate 2 should have been a lesson to devs not to dilute your game with a fad mode no one wants. No one playing BRs is going to switch to Battlefield to play one, and the old BF fans that actually want to play the game just want the real modes (mainly Conquest and Rush).
I'm digging what I'm seeing so far, all DICE needs to do now is fix it's weapons and "Fog of Combat" sound design to make it like INSURGENCY: SANDSTORM and I think it'll work out just fine.
I REALLY hope they say away from goofy skins... if they do, I'll be sure to check this one out
While previews of Battlefield 6 have looked intense and quite good, the game has already stumbled into controversy with its early test.
Non story from Forbes.
The game is in testing.
They're is no "revolt" even the game doesn't have a launch date, isn't finished, and isn't in early access.
At a certain point you just have to blame the players
stop going back until it gets better
Battlefield veterans are upset by this. I’m personally not bothered by it. But I can see their point of view.
Reboot of Battlefield?
Other than BFBC1 & BC2 and some standalone expansions ... most games in the franchise are independent entries.
No female front line soldiers, no anti russian narrative, no left wing identity politics, no weapon skins, no player markers, more iron sight and less scopes, emphasis on squad play and communication, no sticky aim, stronger recoil, more reward for logistical teamwork.
Basically Squad on PC
I just want good gun variety, bfbc 1/2 nailed that beautifully, but after that most gun unlocks felt like i was just getting the same gun i already had just with a small tweak, hell often a gun unlock is a downgrade. Also wouldn't mind a "Hardcore Mode" with more realistic weapon damage like in Cold War.
I want the franchise to be more grounded and historically accurate to the presented settings. Also a greater focus on skill.
Do Battlefield 2142.
