Best Action/Adventure Game of 2020

VGChartz's Chinh Tran: "The Best Action/Adventure Games of 2020 took players to a variety of places and time periods while introducing them to characters both lovable and detestable. Ubisoft took us on a Viking age journey from Norway to Britain with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Sucker Punch convincingly teleported players back to Medieval Japan during the Mongol invasion with Ghost of Tsushima. Insomniac once again allowed players to web-sling through modern day New York in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. And Naughty Dog forced players to survive a post-apocalyptic Seattle in The Last of Us Part II."

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing epic of both story telling and visual design. Well deserved and my personal GOTY.

Ghost of Tsushima wasn't as amazing for me as it was for a lot of people I don't think. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was good. Played it straight after TLOU2 which I was blown away by and is probably my favourite game ever, so maybe didn't enjoy it as much relative to that. Loving Assassins Creed Valhalla at the moment, right near the end of that. AC Valhalla looks incredible on PS5 and it's kept my interest very well through 70 hours with all the different stories going on.
