With CGMagazine having just been sent review units of both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, what better time to reflect on the best-looking console designs of all time?
I agree. The PS3 was the first console I purchased with my own money and I'll always remember the glossy black finish and silver gleaming back at me. All of the PlayStation console designs have been fitting for their respective generations.
Oh ps3 was nice, but I'll be completely honest.... I just love the look of the ps5 and it's controller! So slick, stylish and next Gen like quality! ..... Sadly... I'm still waiting to get one..
The North American SNES for me then Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, and the Genesis model 1 also like the PS2 and PS3 super slim. The two consoles I find ugly are the PS3 super slim the plastic just felt really really cheap and I hate that red North American Wii that Nintendo really cheaped out on.
I actually genuinely love the shape of the PS5 (curvy is a good thing - also liked the curvature of the original 360). Though I also like the angular lines of the Sega Master System so there's that. https://us-browse.startpage...
Og ps3 hands down
That's easy... the NEC SuperGrafx. It looked like an engine block. Pretty fitting for a member of the PC Engine family of consoles.
