No offense or anything, but how is a map considered a spoiler?

NecrumOddBoy1623d ago

It shows the map. A big factor in open world games is the joy of exploration. Devs have worked for 7 years to build this world so it sucks when any spoilers are dumped online before the gamers can discover them for themselves. Unfortunately N4G allows them and some websites will make articles about spoilers, Easter eggs, etc found in leaked, street broken, or stolen copies and then post them here. It ruins the experience for people.

BLAKHOODe1623d ago

It doesn't. This guy is just being stupid sensitive. Looking at a map of Disney World, seeing where the rides are is nothing like being there, experiencing those rides and taking in all the sights and sounds.

gleepot1623d ago

I doubt it spoiled anything for you.

phoenixwing1624d ago (Edited 1624d ago )

dang that is one cluttered map O.O for a thumbnail (not clicking the link though). Least I know there's things to do for many hours xD Back to ignoring cyberpunk news now that people can spoil it.

B68W1623d ago

I clicked it. Image has already been taken down. Nothing to see here.

Rebel_Scum1624d ago

Spoiler? Gimme a break. Its just a picture of the map. Get a grip people.

victorMaje1623d ago

Not clicking that link. Thinking about it I Like the idea of a smaller map but with more things to do.
Makes you not only get to where you need to go faster but also you remember locations better.
Have a great launch everyone, going dark.

I really want to know what's going on with docked vrr cause cyberpunk at 40 fps docked seems to be a choice driven by vrr

DLSS should help the Nintendo Switch 2 with longevity

Profchaos25d ago (Edited 25d ago )

Based on so e of the impossible ports we saw on switch 1 I'm not worried about the hardwares longevity.

Next gen systems ps6 and next box might slow down switch 2 development but given leaks showing PlayStation releasing a new portable system around the same time as ps6 that can play ps5 games says that next gen cross gen seems to be poised to last the entire generation

And right now I'd say there isn't much that couldn't be scaled down to run on switch 2

Goodguy0126d ago

Nvidia or Nintendo need to come out and detail how dlss will work on switch 2. Like is it dlss4? Or just completely customized for the switch.

Tacoboto26d ago

I'm sure they've detailed exactly that in documentation provided to developers.

b00mFargl326d ago

It will probably be behind a $20 demo that we have to download. 😂

PRIMORDUS26d ago

I like to know as well, which version of DLSS? 2, 3, 3.5 or 4? I mean it's not that hard for Nintendo to say which version games will use.

Profchaos25d ago (Edited 25d ago )

Given the specs of the system and the time the hardware was produced if I had a stab in the dark I'd say a heavily customised dlss3

Neonridr26d ago

it's GPU is based around ampere technology, which is 3 series cards tech. So some features from DLSS4 can be ported down to older cards, just not some 5 series exclusive features like multi-frame gen.

Notellin26d ago

If they did what would that be even do for you?

originaljohn22d ago

Why do you care, are you a developer?

40fps docked is a interesting choice as it's in the vrr range but we don't have confirmation of vrr docked
