Game Informer: I love the shooting mechanics, they kind of reminded me of early Gears of War a little bit. Johnny Silverhand is total badass; I feel like just him walking got every lady in the area pregnant.
I feel like it's going to be a great game. However, I do not put much stock into her opinion of the game. She seems to be easily impressed. She even admitted she hasn't played a game in which she had to drive a car since N64. How are you a hardcore gamer and haven't played a game with car driving in all these years? That just doesn't make me feel very confident in her judgement.
It’s not a coincidence. He and I have pretty much the same outlook on things. Which is why I identify with him so much. Makes me happy that I can occasionally entertain you though.
But also the editor said that she usually has unrealistically high expectations for games and becomes disappointed after playing them; meanwhile, in relation to Cyberpunk 2077, these infinitely high expectations were met and even exceeded. So maybe C2077 is just that good? Also: she doesn't like driving in games - so she is not good to judge driving, but about other parts - she sounds pro.
Interesting. You can see a waaaay different game impression between yesterdays IGN (not really impressed) and todays GI (really impressed and excited).
Who gives AF what anyone from IGN or GI have to say? Find a normal person on YT that you like and wait for their opinion. These websites are either shills or activists. There are no actual gamers at any popular .com.
Desperate to play this, but I am going to wait for the release of the PS5 update to get the most out of the experience.
I feel bad because I want to support CDProjekt Red but it's hard to justify a purchase now if I have now intention of playing until the update next year.
@lovespuds I'm waiting as well, and in regards to supporting the developer, if you haven't bought the game and are buying the upgrade, you will still be paying full retail at the time the upgrade is released (I assume) so they will still see that boost when the upgrade drops in 2021, because only those who buy the game prior to that will get the upgrade for free.
Having said that, if you were to wait until say February to purchase Cyberpunk when it's discounted and buy it at a discount, then get the free upgrade later, you would make out paying less. Not sure how that will all work out or what CD Projekt is doing about it.
Ladies - get ready :-)
I really, really DON’T hope it’s anything near Gears-shooting.
Gears are are great, but I don’t like the mechanics at all of that game.
My hype is completely dead. R.I.P
Can't wait! Bought this for PC.
“Johnny Silverhand is total badass; I feel like just him walking got every lady in the area pregnant.”
Bloody hell, I’ll make sure to go with a male character😂
Jokes aside, I hope the game turns out really great!
