This is a pretty decent list. My personal favs from the 360 generation are Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, Oblivion/Skyrim, Crackdown, MW2, Left 4 Dead, Tales of Vesperia, Bastion and Kung Fu High Impact (Kinect game). There were so many good games last generation that I could probably add at least another 10 to my "favs" list hehe.
Those first couple of years with Gears of war, Halo 3, Mass effect, Bioshock, and COD4. Best years of my gaming life.
Though not that good a time for JRPGs, many, many great titles last gen nonetheless.
Would love a COD4 remaster like was rumored.
I don't know about anyone else but i hate it when people say "of all time", why not just say "The best Xbox 360 games" ? Adding "of all time" makes it seem like the 360 has been around forever.
I know it's nitpicking, but it's something that kinda bugs me :P

yeah I agree but mario 64 is also great.. but what made melee so good for launch is that everyone in the room wanted to play the new console and with melee everyone could jump in and play.
Mario 64 still has yet to be topped...and it was a 1996 Launch game.
Give us Mario 64-2.
