PS5 Download Queue Issue Reported, Here's a Temporary Fix

There is currently an issue with how the PS5 manages downloads which can lead to the system showing the download in a queue when it is not working.

Just a heads up, I seem to have found a fix that does not require a factory reset, but it may only work with disc games.

Step 1. Delete the game
Step 2. Make sure you have enough room to download the game
Step 3. Create a brand new user and sign in to their profile. Note that you do not have to create a PSN for them, just a user on the PS5 will suffice.
Step 4. Insert the disc.
Step 5. After the download starts, switch back to your main user account. The progress will carry over.

I did this to fix my PS5 copy of Cold War!

Thats actually happened on my PS4. Ive done it few times still dont work. But fortunately my PS5 comes on Thursday and hopefully won't have an issue on that. With all the reports on the bugs and that, im scared something will go wrong

There seem to be a number of issues with the PS5. I hope they get everything worked out. I look forward to getting one....one day.

I haven’t ran into this but Miles crashed a bunch even forcing my PS5 to shut down. Demons Souls has crashed 3 times. There might be an OS issue on PS5. Miles I ran into glitches where the trophy would show as earned, but then not show that I got it when I’d go look at the trophies, then randomly throughout the day it eventually showed as earned.

Yeah it sounds like the operating system has some bugs
