Kotaku: "So far we’ve shown you how PS5 loads games very quickly and Xbox Series X and S load games very quickly. Long story short, both systems load next-gen games at ludicrous speeds while giving older games a little push. But in order to gauge how ludicrous is ludicrous, we needed to get a couple of next-gen games the two systems had in common."
There are many exciting updates this month for Xbox. Copilot for Gaming is available now for early preview on mobile and will be coming to PC soon. Xbox PC app introduces a wave of new updates: Aggregated gaming library gives players quick access to games from Xbox, Game Pass, and other leading PC storefronts, and with publisher channels players can browse their favorite franchises. Updates for the Xbox Console includes customization for Most Recently Used, free-to-play benefits, Game Hubs, and dialog improvements for game saves.
"Players can now hide system apps, pin favorites to the list, and reduce the number of tiles displayed. This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Home more personal, flexible, and responsive to feedback."
This is welcomed, i like a less cluttered home screen.
"Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny feels stuck between 2025 and 2002. Not quite enough of the past to be pure nostalgia, and not enough of the present to feel fresh."

Borderlands 4 receives Mature and M18 ratings for intense violence, gore, sexual themes, and strong language.
Digital Foundry released video showing other games booting up far faster on Series X. So I think it will depend on the game. Either way this is a vast improvement!
Ok, i think i'm going to like this generation far more than the old one. Damn, those loading times are a dream :O
Can't wait to put my hands on my new console :D
What do you know?
For the moment, both consoles seem to offer similar graphics and similar load time performances
Would have never expected that considering that the Serie X is the most powerful console of all time and the PS5 is the speediest console of all time.
Both are very quick and are a huge upgrade from last gen. There is nothing in between both of them. Some will be faster on one console and some games may be faster on the other. But if this is something you would want to use as bragging rights to say that my console is better that yours, then you need to sit down and take a good hard ook at your life.
It's not going to matter how fast you can load a game from the menu. It's how fast you can load in assets during gameplay.
Can you free the ram up so it doesn't need the next 20 seconds if all possible scenarios like this Gen? Can you load everything you see and then load what's behind you while you're turning?
That will be the game changer that will enable games to be made differently from the ground up, not exact as they are now but quicker loading.
