This is graphically beautiful and it takes a great deal of talent to get any sort of romantic scene to play out in a video game. The fact that they're focusing on physics with sexual activity, although not family-friendly, is really important from a technical standpoint. The two things 99% of games can't get right are kissing and liquids (whether it's drinking or pouring something). I kind of feel that this is a waste of skills to the team if they're really this talented. They could utilize their skills and creating something that's not such a niche title but I support their creative freedoms.
I get where you're coming from with this, but this is a project that they really wanted to do...And just look at Studio Fow, they got over one million pounds on Kickstarter for their own 18+ erotic sci-fi RPG "Subverse". Furthermore, who knows, perhaps the "Wild Life" team will make a more "family friendly" game in the future?
This may be a thing but I haven’t developed the mental framework yet on sex in games. I certainly like both games and sex, I’m just not aware of how they mix well.
Except for the occasional GoT scene I don’t really care much about seeing t&a when I’m more interested in the main story lines. Sure there is always a place in my brain that wants to see these chicks get it on but it’s not doing anything for me, real sex or porn does the trick for that.
If it's done right, then it mix really well. However, there's a big difference between having some lewd content in a game, and making a pure +18 erotic game. So it might not be everyone's cup of tea. I do both, and some times I do it at the same time ;)

It sure shows that the market is more than hungry for titles of this sort. So, yes, there will be many more lewd games in the future with no doubt.

I mean, it's called adult because it's not a game for kids, because it has sexual content like this.
Thats how society views it. Better to act out fantasies on there than in real life.
