CCG writes - "Balduer's Gate 3 is a fantastic game even though it is still in Early Access. The story is compelling, the fighting is challenging and I enjoy the way this game lets you come at a solution to an issue many different ways. There are definitely a few graphical and gameplay issues due to it being in Early Access, but they do not break the game in any way and do not detract from the enjoyment of the game. The Early Access portion of the game isn't very long and took me about 22 hours to complete and I most likely missed some quests along the way too. While Early Access still costs full price of the game, once they release the final product you will be given it for free. Also something to note, when the game finally is finished all your saves will be removed and you will have to start from the beginning again."
Danish from eXputer: "DLC for Baldur's Gate 3 could resolve some unanswered questions and offer more sought-after content for what is otherwise one of the greatest RPGs in recent memory."
See this is what damn near killed gaming in the first place, DLC! I respect a good game that’s already heavily content driven. Whatever happened to having a good game, playing it from start to finish, and then enjoying it for what it was and waiting for a sequel with a whole new outlook? I hate the fact that there are people out there willing to get nickeled and dimed by developers then complain about how we get pelted with unnecessary dlc.
I feel more devs need to do what they are doing. Tbh, I couldn’t care less if dlc was gone completely. I could go as far as saying dlc ruins game preservation as well. Not going to go too deep into that but basically Baldur’s Gate devs gets my thumb of approval.
Learn how to create a character, camp, improve relationships, customise controls and enjoy a great first playthrough in Baldur's Gate 3.
Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios is looking to build its own IP, and currently has two new projects in the pipeline.
Honestly, I'd like to see their take on a more science-fiction or space-based setting. But frankly it will be worth paying attention to anything they do.
I'm only playing this when the full game is out!
