BY JOHN SANTINA: 2020 has been a bit, well, rough, but we have been blessed with several exceptional video games to see us through days lost to lockdown.
As we head towards the end of the year, the release schedule shows no signs of losing momentum as Microsoft and Sony gear up for the next-generation releases of the Xbox Series X (and S) and PlayStation 5 on 10th and 12th November 10 respectively.
New consoles inevitably come with a roster of new titles geared up to make the most of the more powerful hardware. If the 5 best games coming in November 2020 are any indication, the coming months are going to be memorable indeed.
Despite Cyberpunk 2077 having been delayed, there are still several games to get excited this coming month. Here are the 5 best games coming in November 2020 that we’re most excited about.
Insomniac Games mastered the PS5, and now they've upgraded their games for PS5 Pro, bringing new ray tracing effects and performance modes.
SpiderMan 2 came out last year. You expect Insomniac to pump out games every year ?
Insomniac released ratchet in 2021, Spider-Man in 2023 and people would still say they aren’t releasing enough games. It’s insane the expectations people have just because things are delivered so easily to them. No balance
No idea why you people are so square.. it’s not Insomniac who released the Pro it’s sony .. if Sony want people to buy the console they need to show new games. Enhancements of existing games is a given thing everyone would expect

You both bring up good points. However, slow game releases are a natural result of increased hardware capabilities. We've seen this happen more each gen.

I do not agree.. Sony is playing lazy and spilling money into gaas because there is no competition.. competition last two gens is what made Sony step it up the way they did.

I’ve been playing since the Sega Master System. I love Spiderman 2. There’s too much going for it to be a simple expansion pack. I felt Miles Morales could fall into the expansion pack range.
If you didn’t like it, it’s fine. That’s what’s great about opinions, there are no wrong ones, just different ones.
You guys have to understand, they don’t have anything even close to it on his preferred system. There is a whole psychology behind his comment.

It sounds like you’re hard to please vs gamers being easy to please. You mentioned great games. Games whose sequels had very similar gameplay with each other with very minimal changes or upgrades.

On topic: In my region the base game is $80. Still not low enough for me to dive in. Not that Im in a rush. Havent even finished the 1st one’s dlc yet.
The map still has asset's buildings the the first game its like madden yeah same stadium but can you change that madden 14 logo?
Not to mention they never added shield basses basically unique interiors you can explore off missions or add in jersey.

Assassin’s Creed has always been a staple for good cutscenes that engage the audience. However, it's grown lacking of the latter now.
The story was at its most interesting early in the series, but has eventually ended up spinning its wheels going nowhere. The games don't feel linked together anymore. This is to make it easier to constantly churn out endless sequels.
The smaller more intimate maps and historic references are lost. The setting used to be a character in AC. Now it’s just a massive empty shell of its former self.
