Please....either cancel or rename it

Don't ruin another franchise for us, all we wanted was a true sequel.

Don't get the downvotes, seriously this might aswell be an entirely new IP. It's not what any fans wanted when they asked for a sequel. Looks cool! But isn't what people were asking for.

Probably people who never played the first one or those who are so desperate for a sequel they don't care how they get it, only to moan it wasn't what they wanted after they've already given their money to Ubisoft.

Ubisoft try to mask their open world games within marketing that they are different from one another but going by the Watch Dogs 3 reviews it seems like they still haven't learnt anything.

It's clearly not worth changing your IP into something almost completely different. Ghost Recon has changed, Assassins Creed isn't even about Assassins / Templars anymore and Watch Dogs has also done the same thing compared to the more serious, grounded first game.

Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry, The people really think they can be as ambitious as they are banging on about for Beyond Good and Evil and actually pull it off? If you believe that then I'm sorry, I hate to be blunt...but you'd be an idiot.

Beyond Good and Evil does not deserve that at all, and the main issue is if this game comes out where they've f**** with the story, then it's going to taint everything we loved about the first one. The story will stick, it will become canon and it can't be undone so easy.

Or just rebrand it as a spin-off.
like, Beyond Good & Evil: Zenith or something.

FunAndGun400d ago

I gave you a downvote because you don't represent "we."

-Foxtrot400d ago

So you, as a Beyond Good and Evil fan, didn't want a true sequel which continued off the cliff hanger like ending?

ProLogY400d ago (Edited 400d ago )

Why always the 'we' with you when it comes to this game? You don't speak for me. Last game had a huge cliffhanger, much if of based on the mysterious past of Jade.

A prequel makes loads of sense from a lore perspective .

You may have wanted a chronological sequel, I want to know what all this Shauni buisness was about, that will be addressed in a prequel.

You're welcome to your options. You don't speak for me. Stop saying we.

-Foxtrot400d ago (Edited 400d ago )

No. I'll say we because only an idiot would actually think I mean EVERY SINGLE PERSON

So please, don't be an ass and tell me what I can and can't do because you've taken something literally

Be nice to know if Wild is still a thing too...and when its going to see the light of day. 6 years and almost a whole generation has passed by... 😕

StoneyYoshi400d ago (Edited 400d ago )

Confirmed back in April that it's still in development. Not a legitimate confirmation but they updated the concept artwork on the website this year. And Sony renewed the trademark last year.

Interesting to see whether it transitions into a PS5 exclusive title. Was looking forward to this when it trailered...

Maybe now Wild will actually come to fruition since he isn't tied up with BG&E2. They confirmed in April that it's still in development. Fingers crossed!
