Ubisoft has released a free demo for Immortals Fenyx Rising, but not on PS4, unfortunately. At this moment, the Immortals Fenyx Rising demo is only available on Google’s game streaming platform, Stadia.
I think the only thing I like about this game is Zeus and Prometheus and how they bicker over story details.
I enjoyed the game, I did not enjoy Stadia.
I’d love to try the demo on PS4 but I’m not touching Stadia. They can keep their game streaming garbage.
Why? It literally costs you nothing to try the demo. You might even change your mind about Stadia
I have a LG C9, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and a PS4 Pro how am I going to try it? Regardless I don’t like game streaming no matter who is doing it, I always notice lag.
On a laptop or your LG Phone. And so you haven't tried Stadia, and aren't willing to try something completely free, because you've already made up your mind that it has too much lag without actually trying it?
“On a laptop or your LG Phone.” LG C9 is their OLED TV not a phone. Don’t have a laptop. “And so you haven't tried Stadia, and aren't willing to try something completely free, because you've already made up your mind that it has too much lag without actually trying it?” I tried it on iOS a while back through a workaround and it played just like every other cloud gaming service I tried. I always notice the input lag and also had occasional hiccups on a 500Mbps fiber connection. I’ll stick to a local experience.
So you don't have a commuter at all? I find that incredibly hard to believe
“So you don't have a commuter at all? I find that incredibly hard to believe“ No, I don’t have a PC. Why is that hard to believe? Everything I need is on my iPhone and I have a PS4 for gaming.
Because Stadia had problems or because you don't like the concept of Stadia?
“Because Stadia had problems or because you don't like the concept of Stadia?” Stadia has problems because of real world physics and internet infrastructure just like every other cloud gaming service on out there.
Because Stadia has technical problems, im open to the idea of the tech if it works but sadly it does not in my area.
So two comments that both basically say "Because I haven't tried Stadia therefore I don't like it."
Reminds me too much of AC Odyssey beyond the general theme, but also to the damage spongy combat, UI, the abilities, and even the controls are identical. Even the gear system looks too much like a copy paste. Only other thing I see is the clear copied aspects from BOTW. I'm pretty sure anyone who's played AC Odyssey and got burned out by that will not feel any desire to go do that again. Even if you played Genshin impact that will kill any desire to play yet another one so soon.
Odyssey was a chore IMO. Origins was much more focused.
I got to 95 hours of Odyssey and just dropped it and never went back. Never even touched the DLC and many regions because all of them were exactly the same. It was too much mindless robotic content over and over to the max.
Immortal Ghost Breakpoint Ultimate Division Rising... Really, this name is so lame
LOL yeah that could have stopped at Immortal Fenyx at least.
There is no depth to the brainless hack and slash combat. Not digging the art style either. I don't know, everything about this game feels wrong. It's a NO from me.
IIRC, equipment adds to the dynamic, but they're not allowed to show it off.
The animated cell shading visuals o BOTW look much better than this. More like a painting.I don't like this mix of realistic with animated in graphics prefer the tone of Zelda BOTW. The voice work is also very bad!
You can play this for free on Stadia (no Pro subscription required) and it supports the DS4 controller with PS inserts. Funny.
I'm very sceptical, but I'm also tempted to try it as I loved both BOTW and Odyssey (at least to a extent). The visual style looks a bit unfinished imo. The HUD, camera perspective and the visuals makes it look like a mobile game.
Looks like mobile trash already, I’m damn sure not about to stream it so it can look even worse
