wtf man i don't see any crazy steps here besides I am not even going through all that trouble i let my ps5 install all the files while I am playing spiderman miles moralles. dont need to tranfer it on a usb or external and well all my save files are always automaticly updated to ps onlinme storage so you can transfer them from there

How so? This article is trying to make a big deal out of nothing. Not to mention there is technically no need to do any of these things. They are basically saying save up your stuff “just in case”.

Also, article reads like a ad for xbox.

On xbox you do not even need to back up the games, just redownload via purchase history, then get your synced game save straight from the cloud. (or install from disc then get your save).

Or just copy games and saves to an external like the article

Not sure what the process is like on the PS4

the process is exactly the same. you basically play one game you instal first and the rest will e done in the background.
save files or automatically stored online so you can retrieve those easy.
i never heard of anyone using external storage devices although faster just to much hassle.

I would have thought it would be similar. I use external storage but that is just because i have filled the internal lol.

There are some really strange articles at the moment, everyone knows how to trade a console in.

I want to see articles about new games, trailers, details. Not more of this nonsensical BS.

e.g. Thermal output (normal), UI resolution (non-issue). It seems to be less about games, and more about the small stuff, like the saying goes :-

I sold mine today for £180. All the games I haven't got around to playing this gen can be played on PS5 so I have no reason to keep it.

The ones listed on Shpock and Facebook were priced at around £200 which is what i listed it as, there's no way someone would have bought mine if I priced it higher than the rest.

You can buy brand new PS4s for £250, literally nobody is paying £330, or £280 for a second hand one.

If you want to sell it even higher, I recommend you don't update your PS4 firmware. Some people want to jailbreak it and it can land you double what you would normal sold if it on the latest update.

Got the God of War Pro, so won't be selling. Got the Gears of War Xbox so won't be selling. Now the Project Scorpio, it can be gone for the right price.

I have all of those 3 and will keep all. We have about 10 consoles in our house. House is huge...over 5000 sq ft. I will let my children trade the other consoles in for whatever.

I have both of those as well and will not be selling them either. I am not buying a PS5 until there is a custom God of War version. Same for XSX and Gears.

Yeah, those custom consoles should be stellar. I know people who say they are going to wait to jump into next gen. I can't honeslty blame them.

I probably on the same boat, not gonna get PS5 until Spiderman game is under $30 which shouldn't be longer than 6 month.

I never trade or sell but I do buy ones I dont already have. Just picked up a nice boxed uncharted ps4 and have a lead on a batman and destiny taken king.

I already have all the retail variants of xbo and one s and still looking for a few one x im missing.

The local Gamestop is doing trade-ins of the PS4 Pro for store credit of $200. I'll be trading my Pro & controllers in for my PS5.

I traded in one Pro already. My second one is going in the day before launch. I thought I didn't own any of the non b/c titles but I actually have Robinson in my inventory but since I had forgotten about it already I do not see myself missing it.

Step one: check and see if you have a child to place cross gen single screen multiplayer with.

Step two: look in mirror and determine if you could find a partner to play cross gen multiplayer

Step three: if you find you are a stereotypical gamer proceed to read the article

Once I'm done with all the games I want to play this gen....then I'll move to next gen and trade it in.

Never realized how awesome it is to be behind in terms of playing new releases. I get to play all these games but only paying a fraction of what I would have had to pay before.
