The story is too old to be commented.

More beloved franchises turned into “Services”...

"More beloved franchises turned into “Services”..."

Don´t worry, they might have a 70$ copy for you.

Answer to everything I suppose, don’t have a strong gaming division software-wise? Go out and buy you a new one, right?

They're doing this because of game pass. They want everyone to join game pass. I also noticed windows game pass price is also going up like I said it would lol

"like I said it would"

It was labeled an introductory price for launch. You're not some fortune teller, MS literally said from the beginning that the price would go up.

Selling them for $70 is the way to go these days. /s

I don't think any franchise has been turned into a "service"...

Bethesda started that loooong before Microsoft came around. If anything MS may whip them into shape.

Who would tell...

Phil Spencer definitely made the Xbox the go to console for RPG fans.

Thank you, Phil. :)

If they can acquire cd projekt red and From Software than they will have the two best RPG developers but that's not going to happen. Microsoft don't let Sony acquire them 🤐🤔😉

CDPR could be the next on Phil´s shop list due both companies close relationship. It would be a shock for some, but not a surprise to many.

In From Software´s case, Sony better act quick and secure that studio before Phil does it. Don´t forget he´s looking to acquire a big japanese developer for the XGS.

I mean, good luck. ;)

You could probably add FPSs as well with Doom & Quake now in the stable with Halo.

Good luck to the gaming industry going forward. With this being the case, if Bethesda games become exclusive to the MS platforms, they're pretty much going to force Sony to make an acquisition and the same people celebrating will be crying when Sony makes those games exclusive. Let's not forget, they made the barrier to entry much lower for other tech giants like Google and Amazon to get their hands on the gaming industry with their service subscription model.

I’m sure Sony can get someone to build them a decent rpg that can compete with fallout! Fallout 4 was garbage anyway.
