Nothing like some classic tunes. More than 30 licensed tracks from legendary artists like Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway announced ahead of the game’s launch on September 25 Today, 2K and Hangar 13 released details of Mafia: Definitive Edition’s full licensed soundtrack.
Shaz from GL: "Sometimes a game's story can be so captivating and so well presented that it makes up for its lacklustre gameplay; such is the case with Mafia: Definitive Edition."
Have to agree. Love the game as a whole, but the gunplay is pretty lackluster. Wouldn't call it outright terrible though.
When I went into Mafia I was looking for some Godfather game style gameplay. While Mafia 1 and 2 have disappointed me on this front I am hoping for the new one to satiate.
Despite this I do agree with the writer here I love me some Mafia stuff even if it isn't as good (imo) as the Godfather game
eh, it was the ps2 era
most games had terrible gameplay
especially shooters, especially 3rd person shooters
1 and 2 had fun gameplay for their time. Yeah comparing them to shooters now is a little unfair imo
Honestly the original PC version I find was better. But the remake was good too.
2K and Hangar 13's action adventure game, Mafia: Definitive Edition, is headed to Xbox Game Pass in August, based on the latest information.
GB: "With this feature, we take a look at 15 of the best open world games that have a gangster theme."
I sort if disagree with The Getaway. Playing it all those years ago, it had a dodgy control system, more so vehicles, was slow and was graphically unfinished. The sequel was even worse and the third game on PS3 was canned. I think Sony should take both games and merge them into one (as with the soon to be released Max Payne 1 and 2). Weird how Sony messed up The Getaway never to be seen again.
