Then they talk about MS being "pro-consumer" not only are they are basically charging you for Xbox Live only to play online, because there is no value on the games they give you anymore. But even worse, they are "steering" customers towards Game Pass which in some business sectors is actually an illegal practice or at least an unethical one.

Who pays for love or plus just for the games? If u don’t play mp games just buy the service one month at a time to snag the games u want. Let’s not pretend plus is better because it’s not. With gamepass ultimate u get live and gamepass making it a far better deal. Also games with gold u get double the games and the 360 games are urs to keep. So I think getting more bang for your buck is very pro consumer.

Sony and Microsoft don't need to give you anything, be happy your getting something.

May be a bad month in your opinion, but they have to cater for all markets, some months will be good others bad.

And gamepass now includes xbox live gold (ultimate), so it actually works out cheaper to get gamepass ultimate as opposed to getting both.

As long as you are an active Gold subber, you get to keep the xbox one games, 360 playable offline. So :-

Gold sub = Xbox One games playable for the duration of the sub (do not know anyone who unsubs)
360 games yours to keep.

"Your Xbox Live Gold membership gets you free Games with Gold every month: two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360.

Go to the Gold members' area on your console to download your games. Games show up on the 1st and 16th of every month.
Or, go to Games with Gold on Xbox.com to queue your games up for download to your console.
You'll need an Xbox Live Gold membership to claim your games. Xbox One games are yours to play as long as you have an active Gold membership, and Xbox 360 games are yours to keep."

Come on guys, when are you going to realize not every month is going to give you great stuff.

I say the same thing with PS Plus. Some months are going to be great, some aren't. You have to realize these services have to cater to everyone, so there will always be someone that likes that sport game or movie tie-in game that majority of us (myself included) hate.

Sony doesn't focus on PS Now More than PS Plus. I don't know where you got that idea. Look at the games Plus has given compared to GWG and that should tell you all you need to know.

Armed and Dangerous... man that is such a good game. Fun and funny. The topsy turvy weapon is one of the best. I lost my original copy years ago and never really got around to picking up another but hey... this will be a nice addition to my digital library.

Never played any of the blob games so this is a first. I dont quite care for the division but give me a splinter cell game and we are talking.

edit. i just watched ign review of De Blob 2 and it is like splatoon before there was splatoon. They gave it an 8. Looks fun.

Epic is a much newer service. So they'll have more to give early on in quality games.

Let Epic's free service stick around as long as GWG or even longer like PS Plus. You'll start seeing the dip in quality there too.

Surely they could promote it better if they have better GWG, then they can sell Ultimate better.

Games can only go on GWG if they have an agreement with the publishers, same with gamepass.

Ive wanted to try 3/4 of these games, and de blob 2 maybe, and im not defending games with gold because they're usually awful, but these arent TERRIBLE choices imo.

Good games, but if you don't already own them, they can be had for a few bucks each.

That said, the people slamming them for concentrating on Gamepass vs GfG seem to be ignoring we just saw a Plus month that only consisted of games had in their Now subscription.
