HPP: "Creepy Tale hearkens back to a time when scary meant something else entirely and modern indie game design was still coming into its own."
Taylor from The Nerd Stash reveals that Nintendo Switch users can receive horror indie Creepy Tale for free as an 'early' Halloween gift if certain conditions are met.
Dave writes: "Creepy Tale is effective, there is no doubting that. It is as insidious as they come, and that comes from its art, world and characters. We’re eager to play its sequel, in the hope that it expands on them more. But Creepy Tale fumbles whenever it asks you to do anything. Too often, it resorts to puzzles that are clumsy and illogical, with a parade of deaths as the punishment."
Neil writes: "Are you ready to head into a deep, dark forest, as a deeper, darker story begins to play out? It's time for a Creepy Tale to unfold on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S."
