They do if you set your filters to include that type of content. It's fun to see what pops up now then on recommendations and new and upcoming in the adult games. It's always good for a few laughs.

Steam can't be that bad, I couldn't even find this "game". I tried "perv" in the search and it still didn't show up, instead it said this "1 title (including Perv Simulator VR) has been excluded based on your preferences."
I don't even know what my preferences are, but it must exclude shit. Look, it's just there if you want that kind of thing, and at the end of the day who is that hurting?

Epic store client software needs help. It has no forums to discuss games with other gamers and if you keep scrolling down on the store page it will still show sales that expired weeks earlier. I also had a problem with Metro Exodus, right at the beginning when you get off the train. It would always crash, I then download it via Xbox Game pass when it became available and had no problems with it at all.

The problem with Steam is number of titles releasing on the platform. Smaller games get buried under so much crap that you can't find them easily. "New and trending" helps filter out a lot of the garbage, but if you release a game that doesn't get a lot of attention it'll never show up there.

I mean, this is why Steam has built multiple systems that will recommend games to you based on what friends are playing, what you've played, and otherwise.

New games from small and/or unknown developers have always struggled, and there ultimately isn't really a good solution beyond trying to recommend relevant games to potentially interested people.

So, where's the problem? Just don't buy it, problem solved. You do know you did more good for this game by «promoting» it in your article, right? Now people will probably start searching for it, bumping it in the global suggestions (unless that was your goal all along, of course).
And let's be fair, playing this game doesn't make you a perv. Same as playing Call of Duty doesn't make you a soldier or playing Hitman doesn't make you a professional killer. It's just a game. Treat it as such.

P. S.: And not to mention, doesn't it show that Steam is better than Epic Game Store? I mean, EGS have such small selection of games, that unless you're a popular developer/publisher or have a very hyped game on your hands, it wouldn't be released there. Steam, on the other hand, allows developers (doesn't matter how small) to release mostly any game they want, giving us, the players, you know, the freedom of choice?

Steam does have its problems but Epic Games Store is nowhere near as feature-complete as Steam.
