MonsterVine: "Overall, Giraffe and Annika left me curious about its story and intrigued by its world, with the gameplay being pleasant enough so far. "
What's in a name? Going by its title Giraffe and Annika sounds like a kids show on the Sprout Network involving a magical stuffed animal. SPOILER ALERT: ITS NOT. Its a rather interesting adventure game with no actual Giraffes in sight. So lets go explore the magical island of Spica and see if this is the game for you.
CCG writes - "Giraffe and Annika is a charming title. I found the difficulty of it “just right” with a hard enough difficulty to challenge without inducing rage quit. The boss battles have three difficulty modes so you can adjust that aspect of the game. There is an achievement available for completing this game in 4.5 hours, but my playthrough was 8.5. I have seen this game as low as $14.99 on Steam; I’m not sure why the Switch version has a much higher price tag of $30. It’s worth checking out if you can find it on sale."
Giraffe and Annika is a successful Kickstarter that promised a whole lot in its story-driven adventure RPG elements, but does it deliver? Let's find out.
