We Now Know When the Ghost of Tsushima Review Embargo Will Drop

The review embargo for Ghost of Tsushima, the latest game from developer Sucker Punch, will drop on July 14th, a few days before the game's release. The embargo will drop at 7:00 a.m. PST.

After waiting for years to see the release of more action games set in feudal Japan I feel almost spoiled with Nioh, Sekiro, Nioh 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.

I'm expecting the usual flood of FUD a week before the game's released. I'm also expecting the usual amount of clickbait review scores complaining about things just because it didn't go the way they wanted it to go (or they'll whine about how it's not enough pew pew action).

Lifting the embargo that close to release day often spells disaster, and seems to embellish the aforementioned things.

I think ghost of Tsushima will be an amazing game in its own right, definitely unique, and Sucker Punch’s best game to date and game of the year contender, no doubt. I believe it’ll offer a great, brutal/fast and fun combat/gameplay with a great intriguing story. And just be a wonderful overall experience.

Do i think it’ll be better than The Last of Us Part 2, No, I personally don’t think so. But I could be wrong. It’s no easy task that just any game can do. But enough of my rambling haha. Just my opinion. But I’d love to hear others opinions.

Ghost will be The swan song for the PS4, and I believe it’ll be a beautiful closer, and I’m thankful for that. I’ve got a great feeling about that.

Seems like they know they've made a great game and aren't afraid of the review scores. That said, sometimes, it's not the devs who decide this but the publisher, even with really good games, the embargo isn't until release day.
