I agree with a lot of games on the list (especially Gene Rain, One Piece, Quiet Man, etc.) but I disagree with Kirby Star Allies. It should have been replaced with New Gundam Breaker.

Developer Releases Vita Game With Easy Trophies So ‘A Lot Of People Buy It’

Little Adventure on the Prairie released last February on both PS4 and Vita. Its creator didn’t need it to be good, though. He just needed it to sell enough to help him fund his next, more ambitious project. And Little Adventure did sell enough—because Little Adventure has easy trophies.

Gaming Age gave it a 0 oit of 10. Do you really think that will be enough to make the game help the PS Vita? Persona 4, Soul Sacrifice, Mary Skelter and Gravity Rush will laugh at this.

NecrumOddBoy2477d ago

But there are people like Greg Miller from Kinda Funny who gets these types of games just for an easy Platinum. And I mean "get" in terms of he will call the company crying for a free code.

Eonjay2477d ago

This idea isn't well thought out. We just saw an article able the hardest trophies. Do they exist to keep sales low? This idea in general is lazy and an't be applied to all developers obviously.

rainslacker2477d ago

I don't think he cared about helping the Vita. This seemed more about helping himself.

Sadly, there are probably enough people who would buy a game for easy trohphies to make this idea work. I mean, how many people played the Hannah Montanna game just because it was notorious for having an easy plat.

thatguyhayat2477d ago

Thats just sad. People dont buy games just for trophies. They play it cause it appeals to them though im a trophy hunter myself but my platinum trophies are well rewarded

TFJWM2477d ago

Sadly I bought I am mayo for the plat...Made me money atleast lol

thatguyhayat2477d ago

Lool go for a rewarding plat. Try infamous second son. Fun game and quite easy plat. Theres quite a lot out there. The only game i gave up on plat after i finished it all was raging blast. Destroy everything on every map, that trophy made me realise that game was meant to screw you over lool

Stay-Toasty2477d ago

I did as well.. It was only a buck though. I also ended up with 3 platinums from it on ps3, vita and ps4. Such an easy platinum, but man that game sucked.

TFJWM2477d ago

@thatguyhayat I enjoyed that game and plated it years ago

Fgfttfgff2476d ago

I played the borderlands tale and the walking dead just to get Plats they needed up good but I wouldn’t have continued the grind after episode 1 if I didn’t own them didn’t pull me in quick enough on either

PhantomS422477d ago

Sounds like the poor mentality that Sony and MS forced on developers with the trophies and achievements trying to make the meaningless checklist be something it's not. Trophy hunters last gen were hilarious when they bragged about how "better" they were but you look at their games list and it was filled with Hanna Montanna and exploiting the tutorial glitch on the Avatar game. Gaming should go back to not having trophies, where you replay a game because you love the game or you find all the secrets because you don't want to leave that world. Not because some developer tells you that you haven't "completed" the game unless you do this checklist of how they want you to play the game.

Darkwatchman2477d ago

No one is forcing you to get all trophies or achievements in a game. It’s there for people that want them and people that don’t care can ignore them.

I’ve finished games at 15% after beating the main story because I got my fill of the game and didn’t think it was worth playing more of, yet friends have gone for the full platinum. Taking away the option of trophies and achievements is just going backwards. Sometimes I go for them. Sometimes I don’t. Depends on how much I enjoy the game. Moving along.

Jimneous2470d ago

I find that trophies help me to experience more of the game. Through unlocking trophies I discover things about the game I would never have known about, that's particularly true of games I've replayed through an HD collection.

Fist4achin2477d ago

Dont mind this garbage I release, but you should buy it bc I'm working on better things. Give me money damn it

Wow. Tough criticism... It must stink though judging from all the other reviews being that bad as well.
