1. They plan to show MOAR GAMEZ!
2. They plan to show the hardware.
3. They plan to show the UI.
4. They plan to announce price.
5. They plan to announce more than one SKU.
6. They plan a deep dive into game development advantages.
7. They will have Twenty One Pilots play a concert at the end. ;)

@Sprucegoose77 I do agree the drives will be cheaper do to being bought on the scale that mass production requires but my point isn't to try and say that this one component will cost Sony 500 a piece but rather to say that this is just one component we're talking about among 5-10 high priced components.

I don't think a 2 TB model makes sense when you understand why 825 was used for 12 channels over 1TB.

Pretty sure Cerny stated they chose 825GB because of cost and their analysis on the average amount of games installed on a user's PS4. Also, I thought it was 4 channels for the SSD, not 12.

With the new architecture, devs won’t have to make massive files. So space might not be as crazy demanding as it is today. COD is a big example. Remember devs won’t have to make so many repeated assets with the new SSD speeds

I know they said space wouldn't be as heavily required. But I don't think that means we will get a smaller games I think devs will create even more data intensive assets with the space being freed up. I also think that will result in bigger games as time goes on.

Or, a good trick is when you're leaving the office, be carrying a peace of paper, walking with purpose, so it looks like you're going somewhere important. I don't think it's a live show, so no reason to delay it. More likely they teamed up with some website to have an after show talk, or that website will talk about what was shown. Sony said officially that it was just over an hour.

agreed.. and no matter what people think about me, I am preordering the PS5 as soon as I can. I know people think I'm some sort of troll or fanboy, and while I will always have a soft spot for Nintendo and their games, I was brought into the Sony generation with the PS4. Some people are concerned about misinformation. The main event is said to be over an hour long, not 2 hours. It could be an amazing event (it probably will be) and people could still be disappointed if they go in with the wrong expectations.
