They really overhauled the graphics. The original had a charming cartoonishness about them that I really loved. It had a Fable-like feel but so much bigger and full of fun and awesome quests. This game deserves this. I hope it sells well and we finally get a sequel!

OMG OMG OMG! If this it true I may actually wet myself. This is one of my top GAMES of all time. I enjoyed it so much I finished the game, even though I had a bug about halfway through the game that wouldn't allow me to fast travel anywhere.

That was always the end goal though, but for sure they should've made other games to expand the lore and world before the MMO.

They couldn't make a sequel, since the mmo didn't have enough funding and even though Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning sold very well. It didn't sell enough to save 38 Studios from having to declare bankruptcy and ending up closing the studio.

If they are doing this with the intention to create a sequel then it's very much welcome to remaster, however, if there is no sequel then to remaster a nice forgettable title.

It's a damn shame the company that made this game was shut down. This game was a true passion project. It wasn't filled with corporate bullshit. The developers intended to make a high quality and fun game. They succeeded artistically, but not financially (unfortunately). For anyone that wasn't able to support this game back then, please do it when the remaster comes out. This game deserves your money.

I'm really proud of the N4G communities' attitude toward this gem of a game. At the time it was my favorite rpg of the generation. I hope they increase the level cap, because I ended up skipping some of the final side quests and just finished the game. I never played the dlc either, so I imagine it's included in the remaster. I'm super excited for this!!!

I enjoyed this game as much as the next guy, but anyone else recall Curt Schillings involvement with Amalur, 38 Studios and supporting Trump in 2016, and now again? In addition to all his outspokenness against the equal rights protests? I'd love to know he isn't seeing a penny of this.
