I kinda definitely want to check this out

ifrit_caress1513d ago

If you like RPG's, you will like this game.

on_line_forever1513d ago

Any one like RPG's must buy and play this game it deserves your money

Unspoken1513d ago

A remaster of this! Yes please.

NecrumOddBoy1513d ago

They really overhauled the graphics. The original had a charming cartoonishness about them that I really loved. It had a Fable-like feel but so much bigger and full of fun and awesome quests. This game deserves this. I hope it sells well and we finally get a sequel!

fiveby91513d ago

I may have played this on PS3 but it's been so long I don't recall. I would surely play it again though.

OMG OMG OMG! If this it true I may actually wet myself. This is one of my top GAMES of all time. I enjoyed it so much I finished the game, even though I had a bug about halfway through the game that wouldn't allow me to fast travel anywhere.

neutralgamer19921513d ago

you will love the combat i don't think any RPG's have come close to how good the combat was in this game

on_line_forever1513d ago

Yes the combat is so good and fun in this game

leemo191513d ago

Please be true, one of the better rpg games they came out in PS3/360 era.

rdgneoz31513d ago

Different buildings to play around with, quirky story, a bunch of content ... Sad they didn't make a sequel due to spending all their money on a failed attempt at an MMO.

leemo191513d ago

For sure one of those games that a sequel was needed. Hopefully if the remaster gets enough attention and does good maybe a sequel will come.

Magic_Spatula1513d ago

That was always the end goal though, but for sure they should've made other games to expand the lore and world before the MMO.

PiNkFaIrYbOi1513d ago

They couldn't make a sequel, since the mmo didn't have enough funding and even though Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning sold very well. It didn't sell enough to save 38 Studios from having to declare bankruptcy and ending up closing the studio.

L7CHAPEL1513d ago

Of all the remasters I've heard of recently, here's a game that really truly is Worthy of it.
a, I hope it's true🙏
b, I hope it's given the true quality remaster treatment. one of the best RPGs I've ever played simply because of how un-fucked up it is,
with not being plagued by a lot of the old tropes and hindrances that almost all RPGs find themselves adhearing to ..
God what a great game...

ifrit_caress1513d ago

There was one issue with the game. It had an online pass.

There was one problem with the game. It had an online pass.

leemo191513d ago

Its true, its official been announced and you can now pre-ordered.

victorMaje1513d ago

Loved it on PS3, always regretted never properly continuing it.
If true then Day 1!

neutralgamer19921513d ago (Edited 1513d ago )

Such underrated game such an underrated game the combat is so much fun

This new to THQ is awesome. Saints row 3 remastered, red faction, SpongeBob remake destroy all human remake

L7CHAPEL1513d ago

so far they seem to be picking all the ones that the fans really clamor for.
If I hear about TimeSplitters anytime soon, my head's going to explode...

neutralgamer19921513d ago

TimeSplitters trilogy would be awesome they do have bunch of games in development so who knows. They own some fan favorite IP's

jznrpg1513d ago (Edited 1513d ago )

I enjoyed it . It could have been a great game if they didn’t start off making an MMO and spent some of those resources into the actual game they made. Underrated though

that merch tho.

ridiculous the numbers they pull in, which makes it even worse when i think about the low budget broken games they make. or have made recently

We’re never getting an amazing mainline Pokémon game again are we

phoenixwing2h ago

Of course not. That's why I have tem tem because even if it's not the greatest I at least know the indie dev was trying

ZeekQuattro1h ago

Great plug for Tem Tem right there. It's not the greatest but at least they tried.... 🤣

phoenixwing15m ago

@zeek that's right it's as good or better than a pokemon game but they didn't have access to pokemon game money. So it's more of a stain on pokemon company to be in the same ballpark as them

Inverno6m ago

It's time we admit that they were never really that amazing to begin with. The games have never quite reach the same level of awesomeness as the anime. Look at the last few seasons we got to wrap up Ash's adventure, and the new series. 4 lazy Switch games and a remake which was so low effort that you wouldn't be able to tell it's a remake if your weren't told beforehand. The concept of Pokemon will always be awesome, but man the games absolutely suck.
