Sonic games now have longer development schedules for higher quality games

It’s been a while since gamers heard from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise – the last mainline game was 2017’s Sonic Forces.

Sonic’s social media manager Aaron Webber gave some clarification on why the wait for information on the next game has been so long.
