GORN PSVR was developed by Free Lives and published by Devolver Digital and will be available on the PlayStation 4 May 19th. Jake has wanted GORN VR for a while and finally had the chance to review it.
GORN is a great popcorn video game. Nothing about it screams game-changer, but it’s so much fun to play you might spend more time with it than other more refined experiences. With plenty of weapons to decimate your enemies with and plenty of them to pulverize, GORN is certainly an enjoyable and outrageous game.
Hobbled by a disappointing lack of variety and questionable design decisions that feel rooted in the early days of home VR, Gorn fails to entertain.
GORN on PS VR2 plays exactly like it does on PS VR1. This a no frills port that misses an opportunity to improve on the original game.
Wonderful..wonderful..wonderfu l!
Although I like the look if the game I'd probably wait until the price is reduced considerably. There's really not much else to the game beyond swinging your arms around frantically trying to kill everything with floppy weapons.
