This time around, players have situational traits that can either help or hinder that player. The positive traits range from giving the pitcher better control when facing two-strike counts to batters having a better batting power when you have runners on bases. The negative traits can be a real game-changer as well! A pitcher may be struck with too much pressure because the opposing team is winning the game. The traits are not game-breaking in any way and if anything it adds an additional edge that makes you pay attention to how you are playing the game, especially on harder difficulties.
