Final Fantasy VII Remake falls short of classic status in a 21st century context. If you love these characters and these locations, this music and materia, you're in for a fine time. But if you've been raised on a diet of the very best role-players of the past ten years or so, Remake may struggle to hold your attention as it streamlines itself into a tunnel-vision state of failing to see the bigger picture of what could have been.

Colliver's remake reimagines the original game as a platformer, with every scene, every location, every line of dialogue, and every song from the game's OST painstakingly implemented .
He should have done it in Dreams though, the limitations of having done it in LBP are obvious.
ah Dreams had so much potential, I think they should have released it on PC. one can only dream about dreams sale and popularity on PC. PC has modding/creative crowd and I think it would have been a hit
I think the game is an 8 myself. But, i find this reviewers problems quite petty.
