Games like Child of Light and others prove that turn-based can be great.
That said, the real-time combat is fine too, but I don't want to see it replaced turn based games.
The newest Fire Emblem just came out and it's turn based like Persona. People still want turn based.

Why would you want every single JRPG to play the same way? There is room for all kinds of different play styles.
