Here is a look at the early level for DOOM 64. Playing a retro game on a modern PC was tricky as the controls are Old School so a bit jerky.
Doom Eternal, Bethesda and Id decided to simultaneously port what is undoubtedly the most elusive Doom title to date. Doom 64 was, until now, a Nintendo 64 exclusive title, meaning that for years barely anyone played it.
We’re teaming up with Limited Run Games to bring you a tangible, collectible, cradle-in-your-armsable re-release of DOOM 64 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch systems! For you hardcore aficionados of physical media (and old-school demon slaying) Limited Run Games is also offering the DOOM 64 Classic Edition. The Classic Edition contains the Standard version of DOOM 64, plus retro-style packaging and a commemorative (non-functional) metal cartridge reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 era.
Doesn’t MS own you now Bethesda? I can’t see the reason why a physical version is not available on all three?
Funny. Where are all of the “exclusives are anti consumer” comments now. Exclusives are good now? Oh, I see.
Looks like another retro title is coming backed by some sales as DOOM 64 is coming to Google Stadia.
If only they remastered it for modern systems or something..
