They're planning to show off SQ42 at this year's Citizencon, meaning the marketing campaign for the game will officially kick off. If they can make the beta dealine for Q3 this year (seems they're really confident about it at least) then a Q1 2021 release might actually be realistic. Though I'm not really sure how long beta periods usually last for games this big.
