Final Fantasy VII Remake Producer on Parasite Eve: "It Would Be a Waste Not to Use these Characters"

Most know Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase mainly for his work on Final Fantasy, but he worked Parasite Eve's third game The 3rd Birthday.

Parasite Eve was supposed to be SE's answer to RE.

Same, I remember seeing my brother play final fantasy 2 on his SNES and my 4 year old self wasn't amazed. BUT MAN WHEN I SAW AYA SHOOTING AT MUTATED RATS AND OTHER PARASITE LOOKING CREATURES, that's when I tried parasite eve and went back to play so many other. (RPGS)

No, we'll talk about this as much as you guys asked for a FF7 while games like FF15 and kingdom hearts 3 were in the making. WE WANT PARASITE EVE REMAKE and with final fantasy releasing on two different discs, I couldn't care less about the game until they make a GOTY edition.

I think they should go and give us some fantasy. Every final fantasy seems like the same rehashed story over and over yet in the same universe. How about we get a fantasy game that has a completely different premise. As if you can think of all things fantasy.. look at all the games... my question is.. Those games really weren’t all that similar. Tomb Raider was a very different game. Backtracking, ability upgrades. Uncharted is linear and movie like in its progression.

slight differences do not change the core intent of the series reboot and that was to target the same audience as uncharted did when they started it.

Man remake the first one and continue from there giving it the sequel it deserves instead of that RE3 ripoff that 2 was (even though I owned and enjoyed it). They went off the deep end with The 3rd Birthday with Eve replacing Aya which boggled my mind. The first game had such an epic story with so much promise. New York City, Christmas, World at stake. Then 2. I would love for them to set this right.
