Nice interview!
I really liked the answer for dealing with censorship and cancel culture. Developers should focus on how to stay strong and handle the potential emotional harm that can happen if targeted. Good advice in there~

TGG_overlord1920d ago

Thanks you =) Yes, I can only agree with you. So let's hope that more game devs and publishers will do the same in the future.

Simon_the_sorcerer1920d ago

I sure hope so, because the censorship is already bad as hell when it comes to lewd content...

TGG_overlord1920d ago

I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed the interview ;) More is in the making!

TGG_overlord1920d ago

I forgot to ask, is there any dev or publisher that you (or anyone else for that matter) would like me/us to interview?

TGG_overlord1920d ago

@Simon_the_sorcerer "I sure hope so, because the censorship is already bad as hell when it comes to lewd content..."

- Well, just look at Sony...So it would be a real nightmare for fans of lewd content if other platforms follow down the same path as Sony has on that front.

TeamIcoFan1920d ago

If this were a game with hunky bearded guys, we'd get comments on how an agenda's being pushed or something along the lines of "Stop shoving this crap in everyone's faces!".

But since it's just anime chicks with big tiddies and 7 year old anime girl faces, it's totally okay. >_>

TGG_overlord1920d ago

There's already games like that on the market. So I don't get your point. Furthermore, don't like it? Don't watch, read or play the said games.

DonkeyWalrus1920d ago

What are you talking about? There are already tons of games with muscular god men and I haven't seen anybody react the way you describe.

TGG_overlord1920d ago

I know right? So I take it that the said person have no idea (whatsoever) what he or she is talking about...

Rebel_Scum1920d ago

I played and finished one of the Sakura games on 3DS. Will probably never play another one again. The game is just so one dimensional with it being all about school girls with big breasts. Anime folks obviously like this garbage.

TGG_overlord1920d ago

You must be thinking of "Senran Kagura"? Because I don't recall Winged Cloud releasing any of their games for the 3DS? And you picked up the game based on what notion actually? This is like I would pick up "Doom Eternal" and start whining about violence and metal music.

The game gives the fans what it wants, but if you're not into that, then it's not for you.

Rebel_Scum1919d ago

Ah yeah that was it. Senran Kagura Burst. I was craving a hack n slash at the time and there was controversy maybe at the time about it being released on a nintendo console so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Yeah anime style aint for me. Nor the whole over endowment features of teenagers. I get that it has its place in the market but theres nothing wrong with being critical of these games for their creepy purvy anime element.

On N4G there is this weird stigma where people think criticism equals censorship when the two are not the same.

It revolutionized third-person shooters, in a genius way that gives you full control of aiming.

Both are great series. That's awesome

I thought this was common knowledge. Resident Evil Revolutionised over the shoulder aiming in 3rd person shooters/action games

Get ready for some nostalgia.

Yes,
and I absolutely loved the logo of Sierra for some reason.
Maybe, mainly because of F.E.A.R. 😈

Levii_921d 13h ago

EXACTLY what i was thinking!! My thoughts immediately went to FEAR as soon as i read Sierra.

Eidolon1d 1h ago (Edited 1d ago )

Did they develop it? I thought it was Monolith.

Notellin16h ago

In video games there are two logos that appear before the title screen. One is the publisher and one is the developer.

In your question, Monolith is the developer so the logo they are speaking about is the one for Sierra, the publisher.

Hope this helps.

gurp1d 10h ago

yes, everyone or at least most people should try to play some of them
I never played any 80s games, but played most of the 90's and early 2000's Sierra games

jznrpg3h ago

Played a lot of Sierra games as a kid and teenager. Fun times
