Free-to-play battle royale game Cuisine Royale is surprisingly entertaining, though it has a couple of rough edges and a degree of grind.
Neil writes: "Cuisine Royale has had a weird life. Having first come to inception as an April Fool's joke, and then making the most of Xbox Game Preview before launching into the world as a fully fledged title, it's been a game that has attempted to run a different Battle Royale route to the genre leaders. You see, no other game lets you go equipped with pots and pans like Cuisine Royale. Now though things are changing again and with a radical revamp in place, Cuisine Royale will now be known, going forward, as CRSED: F.O.A.D."
Gaijin Entertainment confirmed that War Thunder, Enlisted and Cuisine Royale will run at 4K@60 on Xbox Series X (1440P@60 on Series S) with support for ray tracing and Variable Rate Shading. DirectML support for Xbox Series X/S is being explored, while DX12 Ultimate features will land on the PC versions next year.
It’s strange that Microsoft (or Sony) hasn’t said much about direct ML upsampling. I know series x has the hardware to do it.
Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software studio announce the release of the “Heaven’s Wrath” Content Update for the brutal online shooter "Cuisine Royale".
