Damn, would it kill Nintendo to drop the price of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe physical copy. $39.99 would be resonable, the game will be 3yrs old this April. A shame since the only way to get a decent deal is on ebay.

I only ever see sales of Nintendo 1st party games at $40 if they are on sale AND have DLC available such as Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2. I picked up Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze for $40 at Best Buy about a year ago -- that is probably the only exception I can think of to that "rule".

Ps4 and Xbox games will always be cheap because they are on disk. Switch cartridges cost a lot to produce.

Plus, Ps4 and Xbox are crap games companies and Nintendo games are historically better, so Switch games are worth more money to an art collector.
