The new Xbox Series X would benefit greatly from including a new entry for popular and iconic Fable series as an exclusive launch title.
While few specifics are known about its gameplay, story, and release date, Playground Games' Fable reboot is nonetheless expected to arrive in 2025.
Fable 4's development seems to be well underway, and a look at the original trilogy reveals a few elements the upcoming title needs to reprise.
One of the biggest reveals at this year's Xbox Games Showcase was the latest Fable trailer. After a lengthy stint of silence, Playground Games gave us a look at bits of the title, albeit in a trailer that was mostly made up of CGI nonsense headlined by comedian Richard Ayoade, who is playing a rather frustrated giant.
Molyneux asked about what he thought about the Fable reveal.
Playground´s new RPG will be revealed this year at E3.
We don´t know if it´s a new Fable or not, but it would certainly be awesome to have a big AAA next gen RPG like Fable as a launch title.
That said, I´m not expecting this game to be ready before 2022.
It would, but I doubt that game would be ready by launch, maybe by the end of 2021, though.
wish i had the time to finish fable 2 it was amazing 3 was also good
Fable 4 would be great
