In your dreams ...

I’ll see myself out

Although they made Little Big Planet, I STILL don't think people fully grasp how brilliant Media Molecule is, and I feel like they are criminally under-rated as developers.

This is LBP. On steroids while sans a direct mascot character.

I really hope I'm wrong but I can't help but feel Dreams will flop commercially.

I don't think it isn't going to fly off the shelf as it isn't a traditional game. But I think it will gain traction as more content is created.

I think it's one of those games that will be sold well overtime

Rimeskeem1600d ago

I mean I know I am buying it. I don't think it's a game that will be sold in huge numbers at first then die off. I think it will be a game that will just continue to have constant sales into the PS5. The community will keep growing, levels and full games will be made, it's just a game that will keep being upgraded through time and I think support for it will continue.

Historically MM don’t break records at launch but they review well and sell over time. Constant content = legs.

If Dreams scores between Vita and PS3 range (Tearaway/LBPV -> LBP1/LBP2), people will be forced to notice.

Because as amazing as it is for creating art and all that, the actual games people have been creating are kinda basic and have either a janky or floaty feel to them. Plus they had it available in early access for months at a reduced price in limited quantities and they never sold through those quantities.

I'm not hating on it, I bought it immediately in early access and I can't wait for it to get PSVR support but I don't see it appealing to the masses. Hopefully the campaign that MM are making for it can change that.
