These Star Wars Games Are Worse Than The Last Jedi

While The Last Jedi often gets panned for its narrative choices, the history of Star Wars video games shows that iffy writing isn't exactly new.

but not worse than Rise of the SKywalker ....the whole new sequel trilogy is below garbage quality ....

I really enjoyed them even Rise which I watched last night. Thought it was amazing.

Saw rise yesterday morning. It was pure garbage just like TLJ. Its a sad day when TFA, the most unnecessary SW movie ever made, is the best in its trilogy.

Godmars2901611d ago

No. The general consensus seems to be that TLJ hamstrung Rise. Concluded/ended plot and story lines begun in Awaken, but as the supposed middle part of a trilogy, failed to really address or build on.

Know that train of thought isn't going to help the argument around TLJ, is likely to only make it worse, but there it is.

oh well.

I've just never been a follower.
i don't read reviews or chat in regards to a movie i am going to see.
this way i have my mind clear without anyone else's bias, or in this case, hatred of something that is just for entertainment.

people should try it.
it's freedom to think for oneself.

bloop1611d ago

I went into TLJ knowing nothing about it, and it being the first screening there was literally nothing about it online except all the rave reviews, fully expecting it to be a masterpiece. I was questioning everything about those reviews literally 5 minutes in, and ultimately thought it was terrible long before the credits rolled. My opinion wasn't influenced by anyone.

There isn't a Star Wars game that's worse than the Last Jedi. The Last Jedi single handedly destroyed Star Wars and locked it into a corner from where J.J. Abrams couldn't get it out of and managed to make it even worst but it's not his fault. There is no coming back from the Last Jedi. If anyone likes the LJ, than I don't know what to tell you....

The Last Jedi isn't a video game.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

Every game in the last 2 decades...

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

S2Killinit15d ago

That game was just plain good game. It didnt improve, it was just good.

gunnerforlife15d ago

I don't know, I got it abit late, and struggled for a few days, and then all of a sudden it just got good!!
