WTMG's Leo Faria: "In a year filled with great horror titles like Resident Evil 2, Moons of Madness, and The Beast Inside, Blair Witch ended up being just an okay addition to the list. It’s not fantastic, but it isn’t terrible either. It’s a fairly competent game with some excellent gameplay ideas that are hindered by technical issues and some poor design choices. With that being said, it is still much better than the insanely boring movie it was based off. Yes, I still stand by my opinion regarding that lame film."
