No thanks. Not because it's digital only, but if it's anything like the arland trilogy, it's gonna be far too expensive.

Atelier Escha and Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky Review - Total Gaming Addicts

With very little visual, gameplay, or additional extras added to the game when compared with the PS3 version, apart from player skins, the game’s upgrades fall short of today’s expected HD remastered standards.

However; even though I have played both previous and subsequent Atelier games (including the latest, Atelier Ryza), the Escha and Logy entry in the Atelier series has had its core elements drilled down for a much more focussed, clean and effective experience.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack Review | RPGSite

RPGSite:

Out of all the Atelier games, the Dusk Trilogy is easily my favorite of the bunch. The games that make up this trilogy are Atelier Ayesha, Atelier Escha & Logy, and Atelier Shallie. There’s something about these three games that have always stood out to me, and I seriously think this is where Atelier peaked (specifically with Escha & Logy). They have the perfect balance of setting, gameplay, music, aesthetics, and story. The alchemist gameplay loop meshes surprisingly well with the story about a dying world, but it never loses Atelier’s hopeful message and wholesome character interaction. They originally released on PlayStation 3, but received expanded 'Plus' ports on PlayStation Vita that included all of the original DLC with new recruitable characters, new costumes, and more story.

Is this game a good intro with this series? Never played any of these, but this intrigues me.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy DX review (PlayStation 4) - Demon Gaming

Lyam writes: The Atelier Dusk Trilogy DX covers the Dusk storyline in 3 games, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemists of Dusk DX, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX. They were originally on other systems like PlayStation 3, then the “Plus” versions released on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. The game’s story is spread along all three games but each game can be played on their own with a conclusion. Playing them in order means seeing cameos but not vitally important.
