What do you get when you mix handball with nutty weapons and lots of neon? You get Hyperbrawl Tournament, an indie sports game from the minds over at Milky Tea Studios. Hyperbrawl was one of the first hundred games first launched on Apple Arcade and sports some wacky fun.
"The award-winning UK-based indie games publisher and game developer Milky Tea today announced with great pride and excitement that they have just released the game-changing multiplayer update for "HyperBrawl Tournament" on Apple Arcade." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
James writes: "HyperBrawl Tournament on Xbox One has some of the features required to make up a great game, but not enough to stand out. Its gameplay is fun and rewarding but it is also quite stiff, with some lazy AI. It’s nice that there are progression levels and customization but it doesn’t add much to the overall experience. There is also not a large enough variety of game modes and what there is gets boring very fast."
VGChartz's Daniel Parker: "With all that being said, we're left with a game that looks inviting and has plenty of its cogwheels rotating in good working order. However, the gameplay - the thing that should hold the entire experience together - is jammed. Despite wanting to like HyperBrawl Tournament, and giving it numerous chances, the gameplay was simply too frustrating."
