Hopefully i get Dino Crisis for free as i bought the original PS1 classic on the PS3(like Sony did with Legend of dragoon) and they don't lock it to the Premium subscription like RE1 Directors cut.
But if i have to buy it again and it's 4.99 or 9.99 i won't lose any sleep rebuying.
When they put old games on PS plus they usually have trophies these days. I’m hoping Blood Omen and Dino Crisis also get trophies that would be great
Not necessarily. Only first party and handful of 3rd party titles from ps one era have trophies ... So many trophyless games in that bunch.
This could them testing the waters! If it gets enough downloads/sales then maybe they will greenlight a remake?
I think I bought blood omen on ps3 , hopefully I'll get it for free . Even if I don't I'll still buy it again .. Huge fan of the whole series , hope the remasters do well and reignites the possibility of a new game in the series . I know they just released some graphic novels so hopefully there's more going on with the series . Blood Omen 2 is kind of the weak link in the series but Defiance is definitely a must for a remaster to close out SR 1+2 story. A new Blood Omen as a topdown action rpg in modern graphics and gameplay is my dream and man that opening soul reaver music still slaps till this day
Unity has shared a new tech demo that showcases what's possible in the latest version of the Unity 6 Engine, called Time Ghost.
You never see anything close to these tech demos in actual game releases. More fluff than anything.
How does it feel to not be in the sequel to your own franchise? Their virtue signal will cost them sales
I think Unity exposed themselves last year, and IMO any developer should just stay away from them completely.
Exactly my thoughts, they killed so much interest in their engine since doing that. Godot looks like it's rising to take it's place as the indie darling game engine.
In its current pace, Godot would need decades to reach Unity's current state. Almost no studios use it. For hobbyists, it's a valid option, though.
Gotta be real about it: Unity was and will continue as the market leader for small studios. There's no competition in this sense.
The thing is: there's nothing even remotely as good as Unity for small studios game development, even if you consider the company's disgraced trust.
So, sure, it's your opinion, but most professionals have not and will not leave Unity.
And Godot is a hobby project in comparison, not even an option.
The thing is: this is the kind of comment Unity was getting when it was up and coming.
I remember when I started learning Unity it was looked at with disregard, this is where Godot is now, remember this, in a few years, Godot will get there.

Haha I’m not suggesting to wait for it. I’m saying with all the updates (each one better than the previous one) Godot will get where it needs to, to be considered more than just a hobby engine.
In fact it can already do a lot, it’s all about how you approach the problem.
PlayCanvas, Babylon, Defold, Cocos Creator etc.
This generic statement of "it's not as great as Unity YET" could be applied to any other engine (no offense to these mentioned great engines).
The fact is: it is a hobby engine, almost no studio is using it. As much as I'd like to see Unity fall, it's not happening at all. There's simply no competitor.
I hate stuff like this. I like the real human side of acting. CGI Leia and Tarkin did nothing for me and synthetic voices might sound fine but there'd be no soul in it.
I think this is terrible. With ever-advancing CGI, and this, how long till you think actors are a thing of the past? They'll all be eating each other for theater stage jobs as that's all that will be left. In the Youtube comments, one of the guys claims to be a dev and the first thing he talks about is "cost savings". Obviously from NOT hiring a VA.
If they want to go on strike then at least there is an alternative. Like McDonald’s workers bitching about not making 15 dollars an hour getting replaced by a kiosk.
