Pokemon Sword and Shield Review Embargo Details

Not much longer to hear what critics think of Sword and Shield

Was really looking forward to this but I'm not hearing much positive feedback from people who played leaked copies. Found Let's Go extremely dull and way too easy, didn't lose a single battle all game. Was hoping Sword would be more challenging but not looking likely.

If I give it a skip I haven't played Dragon Quest or Witcher 3 yet, might go for one of them instead.

Way too damn easy. Literally requires no thought process or any strategy. No evolved gameplay loop or progression system. Ni no kuni for example had a intricate and deep system & was able to be played by “kids” as well. No excuses for gamefreak man.

I wish gamefreak imitated NiNoKuni since that felt like the next step in evolution for Pokemon but we end up with the same ole

Yea but they've commented they don't want to change the battle system because of the "hardcore fans" that would be pissed in the competitive game. It's just an excuse to invest as little as possible.
