1990-2000 truly was a great decade for some timeless classic releases on PC. Fill yourself with pure nostalgia as we take a look back at some of the best games released during this time.
Players are rediscovering classic games amid disappointing releases, shifting towards prioritizing quality and original experiences.
I don't think this article has it right at all. It's just a weird angle to take aim at games these days. Classics are classics and deserve to be gone back to no matter what you feel about today's games. Idk everybody wants to have a hot take these days and there's to much dumb sh said these days.
I've been playing more older games recently tbh, but was this made by an AI lol
Not sure how true this is but with more live service games you kinda have to look for older games at times to get that singleplayer experience. And games take so long to make now too. Look more into indie games there are some great ones that people pass only because it's not "AAA". I think this is also more true with older people. Young people rarely play/watch anything that is older than they are. We are just getting old man.
I've been playing through MGS again, and some classic Mario titles, but I'm still looking forward to and enjoying some newer releases. Stoked for DD2 for sure.
An arcade classic is reimagined for home consoles and PC - here's our review of Breakout: Recharged, a great spin on an old Atari favorite.
We're jealous of such talent!
Classic video game characters being reimagined in new and unique styles isn't always surprising, but artist Canadian Turtle's take on iconic Super Mario characters is nothing short of stunning.
By utilizing Japanese mythology, Canadian Turtle has given classic scenes from the Super Mario series a completely new lease of life, opting for a more adult-oriented approach whilst still maintaining the classic look and feel of the franchise. Our personal favorite is the gorgeous take on Mario defeating Gooper Blooper from Super Mario Sunshine.
Decent list. Used to play Dungeon Keeper a lot back in the day.
