Massive List of WWE 2K20 Issues Found by Players Just Hours After Game's Release

A ton of WWE 2K20 issues and bugs have been found by players just hours after the game's release and here's a whole mess of them complete with videos, pics and more.

I'll buy it when it's patched and under 30$

AK911691d ago

that's still too much money for this trash

Chocoburger1691d ago

That still constitutes as supporting a trash publisher, and only encourages them to continue awful business practices. Don't give them any bit of your money, don't support the "patch it later" mentality. Play the first 5 Smackdown! games on PS1 and PS2 instead, or even the 6 AKI games on N64 (two are JP exclusive).

rainslacker1691d ago

Just get 2K19. Isn't it working fine? Is there really that much difference between the years?

outsider16241691d ago

I agree. Im getting 2k19 myself. And on sale too. Not gonna spend any money on this trash.

TheKingKratos1690d ago

I think i will do that too or just wait for next gen wrestling game

jmtstan1690d ago (Edited 1690d ago )

2k19 is working fine. I was shocked when they show some character model looked like smakdown vs raw on ps2

CobraKai1690d ago

Hopefully all the bugs are worked out by then. It’ll probably drop significantly by Christmas

This garbage is $60 or more yet you can buy Smackdown vs. RAW 2006 and 2009 right now for PS2 and Xbox 360 with more features and better quality control/quality wrestler models. It's sad what 2K has done to this series.

XxSPIDEYxX1691d ago

Yet people will still continue to purchase games and support TakeTwo. Awesome!

DVAcme1691d ago

Sports game fans are the worst, man. No other genre is as aggressively monetized and abuses their fans so badly, yet they continue to support it blindly.

Chocoburger1691d ago

So true, so sad. No one ever accused sport fans of being intelligent though, so is anyone really surprised?
These are the genres with the highest amount of ignorant casual gamers.

Just to be clear, there's nothing wrong with supporting good sports games that respect the gamer / fan base, but trash incomplete games like this, and EA games where they monetize so much, do not respect the player.

rainslacker1691d ago

Sports games attract the mainstream. The mainstream doesn't get that fussed about low quality releases. I've seen mainstream, or casual as we might call them, love games that I would consider complete trash, just because they had some sort of cool factor to them. People like to play sports games because it is like being there and controlling things. Because of this, no matter how much the hardcore may complain about this stuff, maybe even boycott, it doesn't make that much of a dent in the sales of the game. Not everyone updates every year, although some do, but there are enough people who play these games to allow publishers to do the least amount of work possible, and release a crap broken game, and continue to get sales, and do the same thing next year, with some promises that they've gotten better.

excaliburps1691d ago

This and NBA 2K will start to lose steam, and then another franchise will take its place. This happened to PES, NBA Live, etc.

CrimsonWing691691d ago

Ooooo wait, wait!!! Let me get some popcorn for this!

AK911691d ago

Anyone remember SVR 2006 and 2007? Man those were the days.

Chocoburger1691d ago

I loved SHUT YOUR MOUTH! and HERE COMES THE PAIN! I bought SvR 2005, and barely touched it, but now I'm getting back into wrestling games again, playing a lot of AKI N64 games and SD! 2: KYR on my Vita and having a great time with it.

5 Games That Started Out As A Buggy Mess

KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."

Personally I wanted a 2d fighter, considering AEW been doing promotions with Capcom i thought we'd see a 2D fighter featuring AEW Wrestlers and Street Fighter, whether it's classic side scroller or vs. I'm fed up typical wrestling games, I'd like to see something different. The pro to all this is that they have the original director from No Mercy. Just have to wait and see but I'm not getting my hopes up. At least we have AEW, cos damn WWE sucks atm

BLAKHOODe1301d ago (Edited 1301d ago )

I feel like you shouldn't. The game is super early in development and will be using next-now-current gen hardware with fresh insight on today's product. Shut up and give the game a chance.

WheatBread1301d ago

I want AKI to make a new wrestling game.

8bitRey1301d ago

I'm optimistic for the AEW game. Kenny Omega is a legit gamer, he played a lot of Street Fighter while he was busy putting on classic matches in New Japan. He was training/sparring in Street Fighter with some of the best players in the world - like Infiltration and Poongko for example - during his time off!

Thankfully I got Fire Pro Wrestling World to keep me going for years to come.
